Spring Valley Farm - MicroMesh Approved!!

Good news! Our request to set up a mini mesh at ANU's Spring Valley Farm has been approved! Spring Valley Farm is adjacent to Mt Stromlo (as below) and provides an ideal location for testing with line of sight to Mt Painter, and the western side of Black Mountain.

The team will be meeting with Mick from the operations team at Spring Valley tomorrow, to discuss what this mini mesh will look like, where we are able to mount rain gauge and repeater nodes, and the hardware required to do so. Below is an image of the typical infrusturcture seen at Spring Valley Farm, with buildings providing possible mounting locations for some of our nodes.

The below draft map, outlines preliminary node locations across the Spring Valley Farm footprint. This will obviously be open to alteration through consultation with Mick tomorrow.
